KATHLEEN MCNALLY has been recognised by Doyle’s Guide as a Rising Star in insolvency. Kathleen has held various industry roles including president of the WA chapter of IWIRC (the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation).

JOHN SUTTNER was called to the bar in South Africa in 1979.  He has since been admitted to the High Court of Australia, the Supreme Courts of Western Australia and New South Wales, the High Courts of Botswana and Lesotho and the Supreme Court of England and Wales.

Silk status was conferred on John in South Africa in 1994. Since then he has practised commercial law with a specialist focus on Company Law, company breakdowns and rescues and insolvency.

John has held appointments as an Acting Judge in the High Court of South Africa.  Apart from the general nature of his commercial practice John has appeared more than 40 times in the Supreme Court of Appeal of South Africa.

He has held frequent appointments as an arbitrator and mediator, with mediation accreditation in South Africa and the UK, and has also regularly held appointments as  a commissioner of enquiries, in particular company and insolvency enquiries.
